Giving Back While Remaining at Home
We've heard from so many people asking Hello Home what they can do for others during this time of quarantine and isolation. Our team is dedicated to giving back and loves to help others so we thought we would share some of the things we have done to encourage and brighten the day of medical workers, friends, trashman, delivery, mail person and many others.
Mail a board game or puzzle to a family member or friend.
Place a basket on your porch for your delivery people with goodies, wipes, toilet paper, granola bars, masks, and water on your porch.
Send a message to your neighborhood and collect food or money for the food bank.
Sew masks for your neighbors. We saw a neighbor place a box at her mailbox.
Put a gift card to Chic Fil A or Dunkin Donuts (drive thru still open) in your mailbox for your postal person to thank them for being essential.
Bring a meal to the Covid Unit at the Hospital, here is a link for Anne Arundel Medical Center meal trail, https://mealtrain.com/yo2dlk
Send on online gift card to essential workers you want to support, police, medical, fire personnel.
Order dinner for a family.
Send flowers to your mom and make her smile.
Donate to a local diaper bank in honor of a new baby you haven't met yet.
Smile! Send a handwritten note! Just be there for others.
